Stock Exterminators was founded in June of 1988 by the husband and wife team of Michael and Jeanne Stock. Michael’s technical expertise has proven a perfect match for Jeanne’s business acumen.

Jeanne Stock was born in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. She moved to San Diego in the early 1960’s with her parents, brother and sister. She was active in the family motel business all through high school. She is a graduate of Crawford High School. After working her way through college, she worked in the medical profession for eighteen years; first as a technician and then in management. Jeanne enjoys travel, scuba diving, snow skiing and collecting fine wine. She is a talented stained-glass artist.

Michael Stock was born in California. After a brief stint in the Washington D.C. area, the Stock family moved to Hawaii where Michael developed a deep-seated love of the ocean. He also learned to ride bulls in the Hawaii rodeo circuit, which he continued at the pro level when he moved to San Diego with his parents and sister for his last year of high school. After graduating from Poway High School, Michael rode the rodeo circuit for a year until injuries began to catch up to him.

Mike began his career in the pest control industry in 1978. He has performed all facets of the industry at one time or another, from technician to general manager. He is a devoted surfer and also enjoys travel, scuba diving, guitar & singing, and collecting fine wines.

Michael and Jeanne have traveled extensively in Europe, Central America, Mexico and the United States, expanding their ever-growing circle of friends. They remain committed to their business and are dedicated to providing the best and most advanced pest control services possible.

As avid lovers of nature, the Stocks constantly seek out new and safer materials with which to practice the art of pest management while creating the smallest impact on the environment possible.

Michael and Jeanne live in Poway with their dogs Pinto and Zorro.
